Consciously choose your thesis topic.

If you want to ask me to supervise your thesis - GREAT!, but consider:

1. I will always choose to supervise a thesis with a musical or gamedev theme over a thesis without these themes. The work does not have to be entirely about music or games (because we are talking about IT theses), but it should address some aspect of these fields, and ideally skillfully combine "infomusical" aspects.
2. Formally, a diploma thesis (engineering or master's) team project has one supervisor, but due to various (musical) considerations, we try to supervise the work together with the co-supervisor of the I4M science club - Dr. Maciej Walczyński.
3. We prefer writing the thesis in English, because if the thesis results are interesting, we consider publishing them. In such a case, preparing a scientific publication based on an English-language thesis is much simpler.
4. We try to combine thesis consultations with I4M club meetings to provide the best substantive support from people involved in the field. Therefore, accepting our supervision also results in being an informal (and, if desired, formal) member of the I4M club.
5. On our Discord channel, you will find information about ongoing projects and ideas for future ones, which may translate into the topic of your future thesis.
6. If you accept these conditions - we invite you to cooperate.

Świadomie wybierz temat pracy dyplomowej.

Jeśli chcesz poprosić mnie o opiekę nad twoją pracą dyplomową - SUPER!, ale rozważ:

1. Zawsze wybiorę promotorstwo pracy, o tematyce z wątkiem muzycznym, ewentualnie gamedev’owym, nad pracę bez tych wątków. Praca nie musi być całkowicie o muzyce czy grach (bo przecież mówimy o pracach informatycznych), ale powinna jakiś aspekt tych dziedzin poruszać, a najlepiej umiejętnie łączyć aspekty “informuzyczne”.
2. Formalnie praca dyplomowa (inżynierska czy magisterska) czy ZPI ma jednego promotora/opiekuna, ale w związku z różnymi (muzycznymi) przesłankami prace staramy się nadzorować wspólnie ze współ-opiekunem koła naukowego I4M - dr Maciejem Walczyńskim.
3. Preferujemy pisane pracy w j. angielskim, bo w razie ciekawych wyników pracy dyplomowej rozważamy ich publikację. A w takim przypadku przygotowanie publikacji naukowej, na podstawie anglojęzycznej pracy jest dużo prostsza.
4. Konsultacje dyplomowe staramy się łączyć ze spotkaniami koła I4M, żeby zapewnić jak najlepsze wsparcie merytoryczne ludzi zaangażowanych w dziedzinie. Przez to przyjęcie naszego promotorstwa skutkuje też byciem nieformalnym (a w razie chęci również formalnym) członkiem koła I4M.
5. Na naszym kanale Dicorda znajdziesz info o trwających projektach i pomysłach na przyszłe, co może się przełożyć na temat twojej przyszłej pracy dyplomowej.
6. Jeśli akceptujesz takie warunki - zapraszamy do współpracy.
